How it works

Outgoing translation (customer‑facing)

If the ticket editor contains text, Translator AI detects the language and replaces it with a translated version in the requester’s language—ready to send.

Incoming translation (agent‑facing)

If the editor is empty, the app translates the most recent public customer message into the agent’s language and posts it as an internal note.

Data handling & privacy

Installation

  1. Install the app from the Zendesk Marketplace.
  2. Open any ticket in the Agent Workspace. The Translator AI icon appears in the ticket editor toolbar.
  3. Click the icon:
    • Editor has text → translates to the customer’s language and replaces the editor content.
    • Editor is empty → translates the latest public customer message into your language and posts an internal note.
